First start

Verify that the instance responds and understand its initial state.

After a Docker installation, open http://127.0.0.1:2502. With Vite, open http://127.0.0.1:2499.

Initial product state

  • English interface and 3D view;
  • no celestial object selected;
  • information card closed;
  • all catalogue objects included in the comparison;
  • mobile menus closed.

Only the language preference is stored locally. Reloading restores the exploration state while retaining the selected language.

Minimum checks

  1. The 3D scene appears after the loading screen.
  2. You can switch between all three views.
  3. A search finds at least Earth in English and Terre in French.
  4. English, French, Spanish and German can be selected.
  5. Reloading the page produces no blocking browser error.

A Three.js warning concerning THREE.Clock may appear. It is known and does not prevent exploration.

If nothing appears

See Troubleshooting. Check the port, the container's healthy state and WebGL availability in the browser first.

Local development

Install the lockfile and run Vite on port 2499.

Browse the three views, find a celestial object and adapt the interface.
