Features
The views, catalogue and behaviours that are actually present in the product.
The inspected product in projets/AstroGuide provides the following features.
Exploration
- textured 3D scene with animated orbits and camera controls;
- mouse- and touch-driven 2D map with pan and zoom up to 20×;
- comparison of approximate diameters or extents;
- search, filters, constellations and object selection for comparison.
Catalogue
The base data and localized catalogue contain 39 objects: the Sun, planets, Moon, Solar System, stars, black holes and galaxies. Every object has a stable identifier, type, display values and description in English, French, Spanish and German.

- layouts for desktop, tablet, portrait mobile and landscape mobile;
- WebGL render loop paused whenever the 3D view is inactive;
- fallback materials when a texture cannot load;
- optional demo mode enabled only by the
demobuild.
What is not a feature
- no user account;
- no NASA or other API key;
- no persistence of navigation choices;
- no exact astrophysical simulation of distances.
